On 4 December 2008, CCCC First Highway Engineering Co., Ltd. signed two road contracts with the Democratic Republic of Congo Highway Administration, namely KAMITUGA-KASONGO Road and BOMA-MOANDA Road. The total contract value amounted to USD37.47 million and all invested by the government.
KAMITUGA-KASONG Road is 322km long, with construction period of 15 months; BOMA-MOANDA Road is 109km long.
